Golden Whiskers Fantasy Fishing League

• ✅ Each angler may fish 4 official scoring trips per league season.
• ✅ One official trip per season quarter (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall).
• ✅ A maximum of 3 fishing rods may be actively used at any time during an official league outing.
• ✅ Fish may be caught from public or legally accessible waters only.
• ❌ NO pay lakes.
• ❌ NO privately stocked competition ponds.
• ❌ NO exceptions.

Every fish submitted for league scoring MUST:

• ✔ Be caught LIVE on camera
• ✔ Be weighed LIVE on camera
• ✔ Be released LIVE on camera
• ✔ Show the entire catch without edits that alter or misrepresent the catch
• ✔ Be submitted according to league guidelines

Failure to properly document a catch may result in that fish being disqualified.

The Golden Whiskers Fantasy Fishing League exists to promote and protect catfishing.

Every participant agrees to:

• • Practice responsible catch and release.
• • Handle fish safely and humanely.
• • Minimize stress on every fish.
• • Follow all local, state, and federal fishing laws.
• • Respect conservation officers and wildlife agencies.
• • Help educate others on conservation.

Conservation is not optional.

It is the foundation of this league.

Every angler, team owner, sponsor, company, volunteer, and supporter deserves respect.

We expect:

• • Respect toward everyone in the fishing community

The following behavior will NOT be tolerated:

• • Harassment
• • Bullying
• • Hate speech
• • Threats
• • Personal attacks
• • Defamation
• • Cheating
• • Intentionally creating drama
• • Bringing conflict into league events or social media

Anyone engaging in these actions may be subject to:

• Removal of fish submissions
• Loss of points
• Suspension
• Immediate removal from the league
• Permanent ban from all current and future Golden Whiskers Fantasy Fishing League events

League disciplinary decisions are final.

Attempting to manipulate league standings or deceive officials in any manner—including falsifying videos, altering weights, misrepresenting catches, submitting another person's fish, or violating competition rules—may result in immediate disqualification and permanent removal from the league.

The Golden Whiskers Fantasy Fishing League reserves the right to:

• Interpret all league rules.
• Investigate suspected rule violations.
• Request additional evidence for any submission.
• Reject any catch that cannot be verified.
• Modify, clarify, or update league rules when necessary to protect competitive integrity, fairness, conservation, and participant safety.

Any rule changes will be communicated through official league channels.

Participation is voluntary.

Each participant assumes all risks associated with fishing and outdoor activities. The Golden Whiskers Fantasy Fishing League, its directors, board members, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates are not responsible for injury, death, property damage, equipment loss, theft, accidents, or violations of local laws incurred while participating.

Participants are solely responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, licensing requirements, boating regulations, and safety requirements.

This league is about much more than competition.

It is about bringing anglers together as ONE COMMUNITY, promoting conservation, recognizing anglers of every experience level, supporting the companies that support anglers, and growing the sport of catfishing for future generations.
