Golden Whiskers Fantasy Fishing League

Fantasy team owners draft real tournament anglers, follow them all season, and compete on how those anglers actually finish. Tow Rope Katfishing owns Whisker Cartel — this section of the site is our home base for it.

The Concept

How the Fantasy Team Concept Works

Step 1

Owners Draft Anglers

Fantasy team owners select real tournament anglers and group them into a team roster.

Step 2

Anglers Compete

Drafted anglers fish real-world tournaments throughout the season, same as they always would.

Step 3

Teams Are Followed

Results roll up to the fantasy team, and fans follow team standings throughout the season.

Official scoring details will be added as they're officially announced.

Why It Matters

Supporting Tournament Anglers & the Catfishing Community

The league gives fans, anglers, and content creators another way to support the sport while following individual competitors and team results. It also creates new opportunities for anglers to gain exposure, connect with the catfishing community, and represent the teams that drafted them.

For Fans: A new way to follow tournaments and root for a team.

For Anglers: Added exposure and a team behind their season.

For the Sport: More eyes on tournament catfishing, week to week.
